I made ' Being the Lake' in August at the first ESTONIAN SAND SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM. It was held beside the beautiful Lake Tamula in Southern Estonia, close to Latvia and the Russian border.

THE STATE OF THE REAL The book of the State of the Real conference at Glasgow School of Art is now available on Amazon. My chapter is based on the images of Hildegard of Bingen. Pictures of the sand sculpture based on her writings, here.

IST LATVIAN SAND SCULPTURE FESTIVAL. The sculpture 'Moon Head Sun Head Floating in the Waves' got 2nd prize. It's pictured on the right.

I'm making a poem inspired by a hidden part of Glasgow, a HIDDEN CITIES commission. It'll be performed on Poetry Day in October. Details to follow.

THE DRAGON OF SAND I'll be working with other artists and with children to make a sand sculpture and drawings linked to a story for the INSPIRATION FESTIVAL, in Glasgow in November.

Paradise

I made a sculpture on the theme of Paradise at the Berlin Sand Sculpture Festival in June.
